Years counted from the creation are noted with AM, which is an abbreviation of Anno Mundi.

It's interesting to note that Methuselah died the year of the flood and that Adam could have known Noah's father, Lamech, for 56 years before he died.

Gen 7:11
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Gen 8:13-16
And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.  And God spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
So Noah and his family were in the ark for 1 year and 10 days.

Gen 5:32 states that Noah started having children (sons) when he was 500 years old, but doesn't mention which were first or their individual birth years.  However, we can work backwards from the birth of Shem's son, Arphaxad, to determine the birth year of Shem.

Gen 11:10
These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:
Since the flood lasted for a year, it's not entirely clear if this dating should be at the start of the flood or the end of the flood.  I will use the date the waters of the deep broke up as the date of the flood.  By this reckoning, Shem was born 98 years before the flood, or 1558 AM

Terah1878Birth of son7019482052083Gen 11:32
Gen 11:26 states that Terah started having children when he was 70 years old, but doesn't mention which were first or their individual birth years.  If Abram was first born, he would have been born in 1948 AM.  Since Noah died in 2006 AM, Noah could have known Terah's first-born for 58 years before he died.

However, since Abram was 75 years old when he left Haran (Gen 12:4) and Terah died in Haran when he was 205 (Gen 11:32) and Abram left Haran after Terah died (Acts 7:2-4), Abram could not have been born before Terah was 130 years old.  I am going to assume that Abram didn't waste years of time after the death of his father to leave Haran.  By that reckoning, Abram was born when Terah was 130 years old in the year 2008 AM, two years after the death of Noah.
